Job Summary
Responsible for preparing and processing shipping documentation, customs declarations, vessel clearance documentation, and coordinating with government authorities to ensure smooth import and export operations. The role ensures full compliance with Malaysian Customs, Marine Department, and Port Authority requirements while supporting the efficient movement of vessels.
Key Responsibilities
- Register vessel arrivals and departures with the Marine Department Malaysia (Jabatan Laut Malaysia).
- Prepare Customs Forms, update and record in accordance with Customs requirements.
- Coordinate with Langkawi Port, Jabatan Laut Malaysia, Customs, and other relevant authorities to ensure all documentation complies with statutory and operational requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of manifests, customs documentation, and vessel operational files.
- Ensure all operational documentation is completed accurately and submitted within the required deadlines.
- Perform any other operational duties assigned by the Operations Manager or Management from time to time.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Maritime Studies, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in shipping, logistics, or port operations.
Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM1,800.00 per month
