Role Description

The Technical Support Engineer / AI Engineer is responsible for delivering technical support while designing, implementing, and optimizing AI-powered solutions that improve system performance, operational efficiency, and user experience. This role combines technical troubleshooting with AI technologies to ensure reliable applications, seamless integrations, and continuous innovation across business systems.

Key responsibilities include diagnosing and resolving technical issues related to software applications, cloud environments, APIs, databases, operating systems, and system integrations. The role performs root cause analysis, monitors system health, and implements corrective actions to maintain high service availability and minimize operational disruptions.

The position supports the development and deployment of AI-enabled applications by assisting with data preparation, AI model integration, prompt optimization, workflow automation, and API implementation. It evaluates AI model performance, validates outputs, and recommends improvements to enhance accuracy, scalability, and operational efficiency.

In addition, the role develops and maintains technical documentation, user guides, troubleshooting procedures, and knowledge base articles to improve support quality and operational consistency. It collaborates with software developers, data engineers, product managers, and infrastructure teams to resolve technical challenges and deliver continuous product enhancements.

The role monitors emerging technologies in artificial intelligence, cloud computing, automation, and machine learning operations (MLOps) to recommend innovative solutions that improve system capabilities, deployment efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

Strong understanding of technical support, system administration, software troubleshooting, incident management, and application support processes. Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues across software, infrastructure, and network environments.

Knowledge of artificial intelligence and machine learning concepts, including AI model integration, prompt engineering, workflow automation, data processing, and AI application deployment. Familiarity with large language models (LLMs), generative AI technologies, AI APIs, and MLOps practices is advantageous.

Proficiency in programming or scripting languages, API development and integration, cloud platforms, databases, and software development principles. Understanding of system architecture, application monitoring, and performance optimization is beneficial.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to investigate complex technical issues, evaluate system performance, and implement scalable, reliable solutions.

Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to prepare technical documentation and communicate complex technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, adaptability, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while collaborating effectively in a fast-paced technology environment.
