PLC/ Electrical Engineer (Singapore)

About the Role

We are looking for a hands-on Electrical Engineer to support the design, development, and deployment of customized automation equipment. This role involves end-to-end electrical system design, integration, and on-site commissioning.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop overall electrical control systems for automation equipment
• Select and specify electrical components, including motors, sensors, and control devices
• Develop, program, and debug PLC systems and HMI interfaces
• Design electrical schematics and control panel layouts
• Assemble, test, and troubleshoot electromechanical systems
• Support system installation, commissioning, and on-site debugging
• Prepare technical documentation, including drawings and system specifications
• Liaise with suppliers and vendors on technical requirements and solutions

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Control Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum 3 years of experience in electrical design, preferably in automation or equipment-related industries
• Solid experience in PLC programming and industrial control systems
• Strong understanding of servo systems, stepper motors, and motion control
• Familiar with electrical component selection and system integration
• Proficient in electrical design tools
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Fluent in English (spoken and written)
• Willingness to travel internationally when required
