A rapidly growing global multi-strategy hedge fund is looking for a Quantitative Python Developer to join its central engineering team in Hong Kong. Reporting directly to the Asia Head of Engineering , you'll build applications and tools that are used acrosstrading, risk, operations, treasury and quantitative research - giving you a level of visibility and commercial impact that's difficult to find elsewhere.

What you'll be building:

1. Python applications that support trading, research and investment decision-making
2. Analytics and risk tooling used by Portfolio Managers and trading teams
3. Internal platforms that improve operational efficiency and trading workflows
4. Scalable solutions that connect technology, data and the front office
5. Greenfield projects that directly influence how the engineering platform evolves

We're looking for engineers who have:

1. Around 2-6 years of professional Python development experience
2. Strong Computer Science or quantitative foundations
3. Experience writing clean, production-quality code
4. Excellent communication skills and confidence working with both technical and business stakeholders
5. A genuine interest in solving complex commercial problems
6. Excellent English communication skills
