ROLE OVERVIEW

The Academic Advisor is a high-impact, revenue-focused role responsible for converting prospective families into long-term consulting clients. You are the "architect" of the student’s journey, identifying subtle family needs and prescribing the appropriate admissions solutions. This role focuses exclusively on departmental growth and enrolment; consulting services are delivered by a separate team of specialists.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

·         Consultative Prescription: Conduct discovery sessions to diagnose family needs and prescribe the optimal consulting package.

·         Revenue Growth: Own the conversion pipeline from initial inquiry to signed contract, ensuring departmental revenue targets are met.

·         Strategic Collaboration: Partner with the Head of Department to navigate high-stakes or non-traditional cases requiring bespoke solutions.

·         Relationship Management: Serve as the primary point of contact during the enrolment phase, building deep trust through expert industry knowledge.

·         Market Intelligence: Maintain mastery of the admissions landscape to provide immediate, credible advice that differentiates our firm.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

·         The "Educator-Closer": A professional who understands the gravity of admissions and can close a deal through empathy and expertise rather than "hard sell" tactics.

·         Intuitive Listener: Ability to detect unspoken concerns or aspirations within complex family dynamics.

·         Collaborative Strategist: Comfortable working under the direction of the Head of Department on complex, high-value cases.

·         Experience: 1+ year in admissions, high-end educational consulting, or enrolment management.

·         Education: Bachelor’s degree required
