Job Title: Junior CSV (Cyber Security Vulnerability) Engineer

Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated Junior CSV (Cyber Security Vulnerability) Engineer to join our cybersecurity team. The ideal candidate should have a basic understanding of vulnerability management, operating systems, networking, and information security. Fresh graduates with relevant internships or up to 1 year of experience are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

* Perform vulnerability scans using approved security tools.

* Analyze vulnerability scan results and assist in identifying security risks.

* Work with infrastructure and application teams to support vulnerability remediation.

* Validate fixes by conducting follow-up scans.

* Maintain vulnerability tracking reports and documentation.

* Assist in security monitoring and compliance activities.

* Support the cybersecurity team during security assessments and audits.

* Stay updated on emerging security threats and vulnerabilities.

Requirements

* Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cyber Security, or a related field.

* 0–1 year of experience in IT or Cyber Security (Fresh graduates are welcome to apply).

* Basic knowledge of:

* Windows and Linux operating systems

* Networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, HTTPS)

* Vulnerability management concepts (CVE, CVSS)

* OWASP Top 10 (basic understanding)

* Exposure to vulnerability scanning tools such as Qualys, Nessus, or Rapid7 is an advantage.

* Basic scripting knowledge (PowerShell, Bash, or Python) is a plus.

* Good analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

* Willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

* Internship experience in Cyber Security or IT Infrastructure.

* Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, Google Cybersecurity Certificate, or similar are an added advantage.

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
