Role Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Database Administrator (DBA) to manage the performance, availability, and security of our database systems. You will work closely with the project team to ensure reliable operations, optimize database performance, and implement data protection measures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, maintain, and upgrade database systems.
• Monitor and optimize database performance, availability, and reliability.
• Manage backups, disaster recovery, replication, clustering, and failover solutions.
• Troubleshoot database issues and perform root cause analysis.
• Implement and maintain database security, access controls, and compliance requirements.
• Collaborate with developers on database design, performance tuning, and scalability.
• Optimize queries, indexes, and database configurations.
• Create and maintain database documentation, users, roles, and permissions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Strong experience with database platforms such as SQL Server or Oracle.
• Knowledge of database security, backup, disaster recovery, and high-availability solutions.
• Experience with database performance tuning, schema optimization, partitioning, and configuration.
• Proficiency in SSRS and SSIS/ETL; MongoDB experience is an advantage.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Oracle Certified Professional or Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator Associate) are a plus.
