KeyResponsibilities:
A. Procurement & Sourcing
- Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to obtain the best pricing, quality, delivery terms, and commercial conditions.
- Prepare and process purchase requisitions, purchase orders, and procurement-related documentation.
- Monitor purchase order status and follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
- Identify alternative suppliers and develop supplier networks to reduce procurement risks.
- Support strategic sourcing initiatives and cost-saving programs.
B. Supplier Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new suppliers.
- Conduct supplier evaluations and monitor supplier performance based on quality, pricing, delivery, and service standards.
- Resolve supplier-related issues, including delivery delays, quality concerns, and pricing discrepancies.
- Assist in supplier contract reviews and negotiations.
C. Inventory & Supply Chain Management
- Work closely with warehouse and operations teams to maintain optimal inventory levels.
- Monitor inventory movements, stock consumption trends, and replenishment requirements.
- Support inventory planning activities to minimize stock shortages and excess inventory.
- Coordinate incoming shipments and ensure timely receipt of purchased goods.
- Assist in inventory audits and stock reconciliation exercises.
D. Cost Control & Reporting
- Monitor procurement expenditures and identify opportunities for cost reduction.
- Prepare procurement reports, supplier performance reports, inventory reports, and purchasing analysis.
- Support budgeting exercises and procurement planning activities.
- Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation for audit and compliance purposes.
E. Team Support & Coordination
- Provide guidance, training, and support to procurement and warehouse personnel where required.
- Coordinate with internal departments including Operations, Workshop, Parts, Sales, Finance, and Management to ensure procurement requirements are fulfilled.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within procurement and supply chain operations.
F. Compliance & Governance
- Ensure all procurement activities comply with Company policies, procedures, and approval authority limits.
- Maintain proper documentation and records in accordance with audit and internal control requirements.
- Ensure procurement activities are conducted ethically and in the best interest of the Company.
G. General Responsibilities
- Carry out any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by Manager from time to time.
- Support business operations and special projects as required.
- Maintain confidentiality of Company information, supplier information, pricing structures, and commercial agreements.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management.
- Experience in the automotive, engineering, manufacturing, or commercial vehicle industry is preferred.
- Good knowledge of procurement processes, inventory management, and supplier relationship management.
- Experience in sourcing local and overseas suppliers, price negotiation, and vendor evaluation.
- Familiar with Purchase Requisitions (PR), Purchase Orders (PO), quotations, supplier contracts, and procurement documentation.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, and ERP systems.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Good analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Able to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
