The ideal candidate will have 10 years and above of experience in construction projects and possess exceptional leadership and communication skills. Key responsibilities are as follows.
- Oversee and manage all phases of construction projects from inception to completion.
- Develop detailed project plans, including schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Coordinate with various stakeholders, including clients, engineers, subcontractors, and regulatory authorities.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, quality standards, and project specifications.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement effective solutions.
- Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior management and clients.
- Mentor and lead a team of project managers, engineers, and support staff.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project efficiency and effectiveness.
- Ability to work with foreign workers and guide them throught out the project.
The ideal candidate should possess the following.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management or related field/s, recognized by PEB Board or acceptable by the Commissioner of Building Control.
- Masters' degree in a related field are an advantage as well.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in construction projects or in managing projects or vendor management.
- Proven track record of success in managing large-scale MRT projects is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, processes and best practices.
- Excellent command of English language, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Exceptional leadership, organizational and problem solving skills.
- Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Candidates possessing PMP or similar project management certification is a plus.
