- Provide first-level support for network-related issues, including LAN/WAN, VPN, and wireless connectivity.
- Log, track, and update incidents using ITSM tools such as ServiceNow or Jira, ensuring tickets are resolved within agreed SLAs.
- Monitor network performance using CloudCampus and other monitoring tools to identify and respond to potential issues proactively.
- Escalate complex issues to Tier 2 or Tier 3 support teams with clear documentation and troubleshooting details.
- Perform routine maintenance on network infrastructure, including firmware updates, configuration backups, and system health checks.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Relevant certifications such as CCNA, HCIA, or CompTIA Network+ are preferred.
- Good understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and the OSI model.
- Basic experience with configuring and troubleshooting routers, switches, and firewalls, preferably Huawei, Sophos, or Fortinet devices.
- Familiarity with network diagnostic tools such as Ping, Traceroute, Nslookup, and Wireshark.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to end users.
- Able to work on a rotating shift schedule, including weekends, public holidays, and standby duties when required.
