Test Technician

Location: Ang Mo Kio

About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented Test Technician to support the testing and validation of hardware and software products. You will work closely with engineers to ensure products meet quality, reliability, and performance standards before delivery to customers.

This is an excellent opportunity for fresh graduates and entry-level candidates who are interested in building a career in testing and quality assurance.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform manual and automated testing on hardware and software products.

• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts.

• Identify, document, and track defects using testing tools.

• Support troubleshooting and root cause analysis with engineers.

• Validate product functionality, performance, and reliability.

• Maintain accurate test records and prepare test reports.

• Assist in improving testing processes and automation.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the product development process.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Electronics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

• Entry-level candidates are welcome to apply.

• Knowledge of software or hardware testing is an advantage.

• Familiarity with tools such as JIRA, TestRail, Selenium, JUnit, or TestNG is a plus.

• Basic programming or scripting knowledge (e.g. Python or JavaScript) is preferred.

• Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and QA processes is an advantage.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Able to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with JMeter, Jenkins, or Git.

• Familiarity with Agile development practices.

• ISTQB certification or equivalent is an advantage.
