Are you an experienced structural engineer with strong expertise in offshore projects and complex structural systems?

TotalEnergies EP Malaysia is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to lead and coordinate structural engineering activities across project development and operating assets. This role plays a key part in ensuring safe, reliable, and cost-effective structural design and execution from early studies through to commissioning and operations.

Your Impact

As a Senior Structural Engineer, you will:

• Manage structural engineering activities across all project phases, from pre-development and FEED to EPCIC, commissioning, and operational support.
• Oversee contractors’ structural deliverables, ensuring compliance with project scope, standards, schedule, and HSE requirements.
• Review and validate structural designs, calculations, reports, and technical documentation, including tender and vendor submissions.
• Support procurement and contracting activities, including technical evaluations and input to tender documentation.
• Interface with multidisciplinary teams and provide technical support across construction, installation, and offshore operations.
  
  
  

Profil du candidat

What We Are Looking For

To succeed in this role, you will need:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering with at least 15 years of oil and gas experience, including 10 years in offshore structural engineering.
• Proven experience across full project lifecycle from conceptual design and FEED to construction, installation, and commissioning.
• Strong knowledge of international structural design codes and standards (API, DNV, etc.) and offshore structural systems.
• Experience working on offshore structures such as jackets, topsides, modules, and platforms, with strong multidisciplinary interface skills.
• Professional Engineer certification preferred, with strong coordination, communication, and stakeholder management capabilities.
