• To participate in planning, tendering, managing and implementing M&E services for in- house and tender projects.
• Provide guidance to supervisors in relation to M&E works, ensure progress is following schedule, quality standard is maintained, site inspections are carried out and technical issues are resolved on time.
• Assist Project Manager in supervising and coordinating all MEP services and complete within programme.
• Work closely to the clients, consultants and sub-contractors on technical matters
• Supervise and Coordinate M&E services work and work closely with other department staff to meet the project timelines
• Execute mechanical and electrical works in building construction
• Supervise day-to-day site works
• Handle the project supervision and documentation
• Manage M&E subcontractors’ submission of method statements, drawings, materials, samples, and work progress
• Prepare Coordinated Services Drawing (CSD), penetration drawing and coordinate with BIM team
• Attend progress/site/MEP meeting
• Compliance with all necessary standards, code of practice and safety regulations
• Ensure M&E works are performed on time within the budget
• Ensure of quality of works is achieved and safety regulations are complied with
• Execute good project management practice in line with Company policies on safety, quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely from project initiation till satisfactory project completion.
• Attend site meetings, liaise with consultants, main contractors, sub-contractors concerning project technical and coordination issues.
• Prepare documents related to project management activities, i.e. work program, progress report, correspondence, T&C report, and manual, etc.
• Prepare, monitor, coordinate and report site activities, i.e. logistic, manpower arrangement, installation, and T&C, etc.
• Monitor the M&E installation done by subcontractor complies to the approved requirements and specification.
• Witness for Testing and Commissioning of M&E systems.
• Manage authority inspections on site and the handover process of the building including briefing of M&E systems to Building Management and Maintenance Team.
• Manage and direct project personnel to ensure project progresses on schedule and within prescribed budget as well as managing sub-contractors and suppliers as and when necessary.
• Oversee Quality Assurance/Quality Control department in order to ensure quality of work done for respective projects complies with contractual specifications.
• Coordinates team resources, resolves conflicts, manages performance, and ensures propositions and plans successfully reflect contract parameters, company’s policy, and capability
• Plan, conceptualize, and create mechanical designs for new products
• Develop testing processes, and perform testing and validation of new designs
• Generate working prototypes for beta testing and customer demonstration
• Perform engineering calculations to support design work
• Create and review technical drawings, plans, and specifications using computer software
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary engineering teams, and work with vendors and contractors
• Perform detailed documentation to track project development and design process.
• Ensure project timeline is met and project stays within budget

Qualifications:

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Diploma or Certificate Engineering in Mechanical & Electrical or equivalent.
• Min 4-5 years of working experience in the related field.
• Candidate with prior exposure in using Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks will be prioritized.
• Preferred with Construction Industry experience specifically in Factory or design & build.
• Willing to work in Shah Alam.

Pay: RM2,388.18 - RM6,331.77 per month
