Role Description This is a full-time Structural Design Engineer role based in Singapore, offered on a hybrid work arrangement with some work-from-home flexibility. The Structural Design Engineer will prepare structural designs and calculations for a variety of building and infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and regulations. Responsibilities include performing structural analysis, developing design concepts, producing detailed drawings and specifications, and coordinating with internal team members, architects, contractors, and project stakeholders. The role involves reviewing construction methodologies, assessing design risks, resolving site-related design queries, and providing technical support during project execution. The engineer will also contribute to design optimization, value engineering, and continuous improvement of internal design standards and workflows.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong skills in Structural Analysis and Structural Engineering.
• Candidates should possess solid knowledge of Civil Engineering principles relevant to building and infrastructure projects.
• Candidates should possess proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software and AutoCAD for structural detailing and documentation.
• Relevant degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an accredited institution.
• Familiarity with Singapore building codes, standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to interpret architectural and engineering drawings and translate them into constructible solutions.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and numerical skills with attention to detail.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders.
• Prior consultancy or design office experience and progress toward professional engineering registration will be an advantage.
