Job Description
Responsibilities
We are looking for a motivated Service Technician to join our regional Service Team.
Reporting to the Service Manager, you will provide technical support across Singapore and the Asia-Pacific region for marine and industrial equipment. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates who enjoy hands-on mechanical work, travelling, and working directly with customers.
Training will be provided for candidates who demonstrate the right attitude and willingness to learn.
Key Responsibilities
Perform inspections, servicing, troubleshooting, repairs and overhauls of marine and industrial equipment.
Carry out installations and commissioning at customer sites.
Prepare detailed service and inspection reports after each assignment.
Coordinate and schedule service jobs with internal teams.
Support warehouse operations, inventory and equipment maintenance.
Liaise professionally with customers regarding technical service requirements.
Travel locally and overseas for service assignments when required.
Requirements
ITE, Diploma or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Marine Engineering or related disciplines.
Experience in marine equipment, diesel engines, gearboxes or gensets is advantageous.
Candidates with little or no experience are welcome to apply as structured training will be provided.
Familiar with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Experience with SAP will be an advantage.
Able to work independently in both marine and industrial environments.
Possess a Singapore Class 3 Manual Driving Licence.
Comfortable travelling overseas on short notice when required.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
