About the role - you will:
Define and execute APJ Sovereign Cloud & Neo Cloud growth strategy
Identify high-growth markets (e.g., Japan, Korea, Australia, Singapore, Vietnam, Indonesia, Taiwan) and prioritize segments based on regulatory and AI-driven demand
Position Seagate as a data center infrastructure platform partner, not just component/product supplier
Lead and own early-stage opportunity development (hunting) across emerging cloud accounts
Build and manage a robust BD pipeline
Engage customers at design-in stage to influence architecture and storage decisions
Translate sovereignty, AI workloads, and compliance needs into storage demand with Seagate portfolio
Build and orchestrate ecosystem across Local Cloud providers (sovereign / neo cloud operators), System integrators (SI), OEMs, ODMs & Colo Data center operators and telcos
Drive co-sell motions and strategic partnerships
Lead solution-level discussions with customers for AI data pipelines, High-density storage architectures & Cost-performance optimization
Align with internal teams (PLM, Marketing) to translate sovereignty requirements into solutions
Drive Revenue Acceleration & Execution for pipeline velocity and volume (not only large deals)
About you:
Ability to communicate and operate across multiple APJ markets in ambiguity / emerging segments
Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
Self-motivated with a diligent work ethic
Drive, grit, team oriented with a strong desire to succeed and advance your sales career
Willingness to work across multiple APJ regions and cultures
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
Your experience includes:
5+ years of experience in sales development within enterprise storage, cloud infrastructure, or data center environments
Exposure to cloud ecosystems including CSPs, telco cloud, or AI infrastructure
Understanding of data sovereignty, compliance requirements, and AI/HPC workload implications on storage
Work background of engaging at architecture or solution level with customers
Familiarity with hybrid and multi-cloud environments
Application of tools such as SFDC, LinkedIn, and Microsoft Office
