Roles & Responsibilities

Job Description

Perform detailed cooling load calculations and thermal analysis for data halls, including rack-level heat load assessments.

• Design, review, and optimize ACMV systems, including:

- CRAC/CRAH units

- Chilled water systems

- Cooling towers and pumps

• Lead and support cooling system upgrades and retrofits, ensuring minimal disruption to live data center operations
• Evaluate system performance using KPIs such as:
• Power Usage Effectiveness
• System Efficiency

Conduct energy optimization studies and recommend improvements (e.g., air flow management, containment strategies, setpoint, optimization).

• Support capacity planning and future expansion work based on IT load growth.
• Review engineering drawings, method statements, and ensure compliance with design intent and operational requirements.
• Work closely with operations teams to implement EOPs/MOPs for mechanical system interventions.
• Participate in risk assessments, failure mode analysis, and incident investigations related to cooling systems.
• Ensure all works comply with relevant standards and regulatory requirements in Singapore

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree / Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field

• Additional certifications relevant to theindustry is an added advantage 
• 1-2 years experience maintainingelectrical, mechanical, fire protection system in a data centre environment
• Experience and knowledge of MEP equipmentsuch as CAHU, CRAC, ACMV systems, pumps, cooling towers, UPS, generators, etc.
• Strong technical expertise in thermalmanagement, cooling load calculations, and energy efficiency improvements,supporting design and upgrading of cooling systems in data centre environments.
• Strong problem-solving abilities,communication skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of ateam
• Strong written and verbal communicationskills
• Proficient in Computer skills eg.Microsoft office, google emails , docs etc.
• Shift work & Standby Duty is required(Shift allowance available)
