Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop PostgreSQL database structures, schemas, and stored procedures
• Perform query optimization and performance tuning for large-scale databases
• Work on database migration from DB2 (z/OS) to Azure PostgreSQL
• Convert DB2 database objects such as schemas, tables, procedures, and constraints into PostgreSQL equivalents
• Develop and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using Azure Data Factory
• Build and support database solutions in Azure cloud environment
• Implement CI/CD pipelines for database deployments
• Collaborate in Agile pod-based development teams
• Write and optimize PL/SQL and PostgreSQL procedural code
• Ensure data integrity, security, and scalability across systems
