Role:Messaging & Collaboration Cloud Architect

Location: Singapore (Onsite)

Experience: 8+ Years

Duration: 12 Months (Renewable) Contract

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Messaging & Collaboration Cloud Architect to lead the design, modernization, and governance of enterprise messaging and collaboration platforms across hybrid environments. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in Microsoft Exchange Server, Exchange Online, Microsoft 365, Azure, Entra ID, and Messaging Security, with a proven track record in cloud transformation and enterprise-scale messaging architecture.

Key Responsibilities

Messaging & Collaboration Architecture

• Define enterprise messaging architecture, standards, and governance frameworks.
• Develop strategic roadmaps for Exchange modernization and Microsoft 365 adoption.
• Design and manage hybrid messaging environments spanning on-premises and cloud platforms.
• Lead architecture reviews, technical assessments, and transformation initiatives.

Exchange & Microsoft 365 Platform Design

• Architect and govern Microsoft Exchange Server (2016/2019/SE) and Exchange Online environments.
• Design high availability, disaster recovery, mail flow, transport, and messaging resiliency solutions.
• Support Microsoft 365 collaboration services including Teams, SharePoint Online, and OneDrive.

Azure & Identity Integration

• Design secure Azure-integrated messaging solutions.
• Implement identity and access management using Entra ID (Azure AD), AD Connect, MFA, and Conditional Access.
• Ensure secure connectivity between on-premises and cloud environments.

Security & Compliance

• Design and implement secure messaging solutions using:
• Microsoft Defender for Office 365
• Exchange Online Protection (EOP)
• Data Loss Prevention (DLP)
• Microsoft Purview & Information Protection
• Support eDiscovery, retention policies, legal hold, audit, and compliance requirements.

Cloud Migration & Transformation

• Lead Exchange-to-Microsoft 365 migration projects.
• Develop migration strategies, coexistence models, runbooks, and rollback plans.
• Support tenant consolidations, mergers, acquisitions, and modernization programs.

Automation & Operations

• Develop PowerShell-based automation for provisioning, administration, and reporting.
• Promote Infrastructure-as-Code and automation-first operational models.
• Leverage Microsoft Copilot and Power Platform for operational efficiency and reporting.

Stakeholder Management

• Collaborate with Infrastructure, Cloud, Security, and Workplace teams.
• Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and architecture guidance.
• Present technical solutions and recommendations to business and executive stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of experience in Microsoft Messaging & Collaboration technologies.
