Responsibilities

• To obtain all relevant approvals for the construction of the projects including layout plan, earthworks, infrastructure works, building plan approval and all other relevant approvals including the issuance of certificate of fitness and/or certificate of completion and compliance
• To coordinate with consultants during conceptual design, design development and tender stage and to ensure that all drawings are prepared within stipulated time frame for submission to the relevant authorities and calling tender
• To contribute towards and see to the finalisation of designs and materials proposed by consultants and contractors for the projects
• Ensure that the company’s Quality Management System Manual , IOI Quality Standard and the Project Quality Plan (PQP) are adhered to during construction of works
• To regularly report to the relevant Asst General Manager on the progress of the works and the problem areas encountered especially in respect of defective, outstanding or non-conforming works or delayed works
• To minimise variation order incurred during implementation stage
• To review design development and tender drawings and to ensure that consultants has optimized the design
• To ensure that all as built drawings are prepared and a copy kept at the headquarters prior to issuance of certificate of practical completion
• To control relevant project documents and data as outlined in the PQP
• To execute any other job responsibilities as and when required by the superior or any other persons designated by the Company

Requirement

• sDegree in Civil/Structural Engineering, Architecture, Quantity Surveying, Building, Construction Management or a related disciplin
• eMinimum 10 years relevant experienc
• eSound knowledge of civil, structural, quantity surveying and architectural work
• sStrong leadership and ability to lead site project team and coordinate with internal contract department and consultant
• sAbility to coordinate with relevant government authorities for the required approvals and permits / license
