Our client is a global investment firm with an established presence across Asia and Europe. They are seeking a technically strong and hands-on Web Developer to join their Singapore team and take ownership of a portfolio of business-critical web applications and digital platforms.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working across the full development lifecycle from maintaining and enhancing existing applications to delivering new solutions that improve user experience, functionality, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain internal and external web applications and websites.
• Enhance and support existing platforms while driving the evolution of legacy applications.
• Build scalable integrations with third-party systems and APIs.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application issues to ensure high availability and performance.
• Work closely with business users and stakeholders to translate requirements into practical technical solutions.
• Optimise website performance, security, and usability across multiple platforms and browsers.
• Support analytics and digital initiatives, including website tracking and performance reporting.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and knowledge resources.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, technologies, and development standards.

Key Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• At least 6 - 10 years of experience in web application development.
• Strong hands-on experience with PHP, Classic ASP, WordPress, JavaScript, jQuery, HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, MySQL, and MSSQL.
• RESTful API integration
• Experience supporting and modernising mature or legacy systems.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills with a collaborative approach to working with stakeholders.
