We are seeking a highly skilled AI Security Architect who operates at the intersection of cybersecurity, AI/ML systems, cloud architecture, and governance. This role is responsible for designing and securing AI systems end-to-end, ensuring enterprise AI and GenAI adoption is both safe and resilient against emerging threats.
The ideal candidate will bridge deep technical expertise in AI and security with strong architectural thinking, governance awareness, and stakeholder engagement across engineering, risk, and leadership teams. Key Responsibilities include:
AI & Security Architecture
- Design and secure end-to-end AI/ML systems, including LLM and GenAI pipelines
- Identify and mitigate AI-specific threats such as prompt injection, data poisoning, model inversion/extraction, and adversarial manipulation
- Apply core cybersecurity principles including IAM, Zero Trust, threat modelling, and secure SDLC
AI Security Design & Controls
- Develop secure AI reference architectures across data, model, and application layers
- Embed security into:
- Data pipelines (training and inference)
- Model lifecycle (MLOps / LLMOps)
- AI APIs and service layers
- Implement GenAI guardrails, including:
- Content filtering
- Output validation
- Policy enforcement mechanisms
- Ensure secure deployment across AWS, Azure, or GCP environments
Cloud & Platform Security
- Architect and implement cloud-native security controls for AI workloads
- Leverage services such as IAM, KMS, Security Hub, VPC design, and secrets management
- Secure distributed AI systems using containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes)
Governance, Risk & Compliance
- Apply AI governance frameworks such as NIST AI RMF, ISO 42001, and EU AI Act
- Embed Responsible AI principles including fairness, transparency, explainability, and auditability
- Collaborate closely with Risk, Legal, Compliance, and Security teams
Engineering & Implementation
- Build and support security tooling using Python and modern engineering stacks
- Develop secure APIs (FastAPI, Flask, Java/Spring)
- Implement DevSecOps pipelines (CI/CD, GitHub Actions, Jenkins)
- Build automation for security monitoring, logging, and detection (SIEM, Splunk, ELK)
Threat Modelling & Offensive Security
- Conduct AI-specific threat modelling workshops
- Understand attacker behaviours targeting AI systems
- Apply frameworks such as STRIDE and MITRE ATT&CK (AI extensions)
- Simulate adversarial attacks to test model robustness
Stakeholder Engagement
- Translate complex AI security risks into clear business and risk narratives
- Partner with data scientists, ML engineers, and CISO-level stakeholders
- Promote a security-by-design culture across AI initiatives
