Key Highlight: Manage daily content operations, uploading, metadata, subtitles, localization, quality checking, and platform content updates for the company’s digital content projects.
Role Overview
At Thousands of Years Media Sdn. Bhd. (ToYm), we are looking for a Content Operations Executive to support the daily content operations of the company’s media, entertainment, and digital content projects.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing content uploads, episode arrangements, metadata, subtitles, localization, content checking, publishing schedules, platform updates, and content records to ensure all content is uploaded accurately, organized properly, and presented professionally.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage daily content uploading and platform content updates for company projects and platforms.
• Arrange episodes, titles, descriptions, thumbnails, categories, genres, languages, and metadata accurately.
• Coordinate subtitle files, translations, localization, and language versions for different markets.
• Conduct content quality checks before publishing, including video file accuracy, audio quality, subtitles, episode order, display information, and platform presentation.
• Ensure all content is uploaded according to schedule, platform requirements, campaign plans, and internal instructions.
• Maintain organized records for content files, licensing details, upload status, subtitle status, publishing schedules, and content updates.
• Work closely with Content, Licensing, Production, Creative, Marketing, Technology, and Operations teams to ensure smooth content workflow.
• Monitor published content and report any technical issues, missing assets, incorrect information, subtitle problems, or user experience issues.
• Support content arrangement for promotions, campaigns, new releases, featured titles, and platform activities.
• Assist in tracking content performance such as views, watch time, completion rate, engagement, and user feedback when required.
• Prepare content operation reports, upload updates, issue logs, and task progress updates for management review.
Requirements
• Minimum 1–3 years of experience in content operations, media operations, digital platform operations, video platform, OTT, streaming, social media, or related fields.
• Experience with video files, subtitles, metadata, content management systems, digital publishing, or platform operations is an advantage.
• Detail-oriented and able to manage content accuracy, episode order, titles, subtitles, thumbnails, and upload schedules carefully.
• Good coordination skills and able to work with different departments and project teams.
• Able to handle repetitive operational tasks with accuracy, consistency, and responsibility.
• Basic understanding of short drama, film, digital content, entertainment platforms, or social media content is preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and basic content management tools.
• Able to support multiple company projects, platforms, and content workflows when required.
• Familiarity with AI tools for subtitle checking, translation support, metadata preparation, content organization, and quality checking is an advantage.
• Able to multitask and provide support for any tasks or projects assigned by the company as needed.
