Role Description This is a contract, on-site Java Developer role based in Putrajaya. The Java Developer will design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance. Responsibilities include building and integrating microservices, implementing solutions using the Spring framework, writing clean and efficient code, and participating in code reviews. The role also involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical designs, troubleshooting issues, and contributing to improvements in development practices and system architecture. Documentation of technical solutions and active participation in Agile ceremonies will be part of the day-to-day work.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong skills in Software Development and Programming, with a solid understanding of object-oriented design and best practices.
• Candidates should possess hands-on expertise in Java and the Spring Framework, including Spring Boot and related modules.
• Candidates should possess experience with Microservices architecture and building RESTful APIs for distributed systems.
• Candidates should possess familiarity with version control tools (e.g., Git) and build tools (e.g., Maven or Gradle).
• Candidates should possess knowledge of relational or NoSQL databases and basic cloud concepts (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP) as an advantage.
• Candidates should possess good problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and the capacity to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Candidates should possess a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Candidates should possess experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and effective communication skills for working with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
