Site Supervisor

Job Description:

We are looking for a detail-oriented, responsible, and motivated Site Supervisor to support our construction site operations. This internship offers practical exposure to site supervision, project coordination, quality control, and safety management while gaining hands-on experience in real construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in supervising and monitoring daily construction site activities to ensure work is carried out according to drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
• Monitor site progress and ensure works are completed within the scheduled timeline.
• Conduct site quality inspections and ensure workmanship meets the required standards.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and project teams on site-related matters.
• Attend site meetings and assist in preparing meeting updates and progress reports.
• Supervise site workers and ensure tasks are properly executed with good productivity.
• Monitor and enforce site safety practices to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Assist in receiving, checking, and recording construction materials delivered to site.
• Manage site material storage and inventory to ensure proper control and usage.
• Carry out defect inspections, identify non-conformance works, and prepare defect reports for rectification.
• Prepare daily site reports, progress updates, and other related documentation.
• Maintain proper housekeeping and organization at the construction site.

Requirements:

• Currently pursuing or recently completed Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or related field.
• Basic understanding of construction processes, site supervision, and safety practices.
• Strong attention to detail and good observation skills.
• Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Responsible, hardworking, and willing to learn.
• Able to work on-site and handle site-related tasks.
• Able to read and understand construction drawings is an added advantage.
• Possess own transport is preferred.
