Responsibilities:
- Follows up on the pre- and post-contract of projects assigned.
- Prepares tender bid documents.
- Reviews work specifications, take-off quantity, costing and liaise with contractors and suppliers.
- Evaluate works progress at site (on going project) to do monthly claim.
- Prepare all related document for monthly claim to client.
- Assists in resolving contractual and commercial issues with clients, contractors and suppliers.
- Co-ordinates the procurement of materials and suppliers for the projects and ensuring expenses within budget.
- Assists to evaluate contractors and sub-contractors’ bids and recommends awards for contracts as appropriate.
- Monitor and control project costs, ensuring that the budget is adhered
- Prepare accurate cost estimates and budgets for construction projects
- Verifies all payments are in order before payments by Company.
- Assist in preparing and evaluating contracts, ensuring alignment with quality and safety standards, and complying with Malaysian laws.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
- Proficient in supporting projects of high project value.
- Degree/Diploma in Quantity Survey/ Engineering.
- Good knowledge of construction industry.
- Good knowledge of Standard Forms of Contracts.
- Willing to travel outstation for site valuation.
- Experience in buildings and infrastructure.
