Role Overview

The Procurement Digitalisation Intern will support the procurement team in driving digital transformation initiatives aimed at improving efficiency, data quality, and decision-making. The intern will work on process digitalisation, automation solutions, data governance, and the application of Artificial Intelligence (AI) where appropriate. This role is ideal for a motivated student with an interest in digital tools, automation, and procurement operations.

Job Responsibilities:

The intern will assist procurement in the following areas:

1.Process Digitalisation

• Review existing procurement processes and identify opportunities for digital enhancement.
• Support the documentation, mapping, and redesign of processes to improve efficiency and transparency.
• Assist in digitising manual or semi-manual procurement workflows.

2.Automation

• Develop and maintain simple to moderate automation solutions using tools such as Power Automate.
• Support the creation of forms, workflows, and applications using Power Apps where applicable.
• Help streamline repetitive and transactional procurement tasks.

3.Data Quality and Data Management

• Assist in maintaining accurate, complete, and consistent procurement data across systems.
• Perform data cleansing, validation, and analysis to support reporting and decision-making.
• Support the establishment of basic data governance and best practices.

4.Leveraging Artificial Intelligence

• Explore and support the use of AI tools or features to enhance procurement analytics and operations.
• Assist in evaluating AI use cases such as spend analysis, demand forecasting, or process optimisation.
• Contribute ideas and recommendations on how AI can be practically applied in procurement.

5.Project Support

• Support multiple procurement digitalisation projects from initiation to implementation.
• Prepare documentation, dashboards, user guides, and presentations as required.
• Collaborate with procurement stakeholders and internal IT or digital teams.

Job Requirements

• Currently pursuing a diploma or degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related discipline.
• Basic knowledge or strong interest in programming, automation, or low-code/no-code platforms.
• Preferable exposure to Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate).
• Interest in digital transformation, automation, data, and AI applications.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
