Research Data & Analytics Intern (6 months)

Role Overview

wWe are looking for a Research Data & Analytics Intern to support ongoing data, analytics, and dashboard work within the research team. This is a hands-on learning role, where guidance will be provided, and is suited for someone with a data foundation who is keen to apply and develop their skills in a real-world research environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the organisation and maintenance of research datasets, including tenant and market data
• Assist with data extraction, cleaning, and basic analysis using SQL
• Help pull and refresh data from external sources, including working with APIs where relevant
• Support the preparation and maintenance of Power BI dashboards and charts
• Assist with structuring research databases and documentation
• Provide ad-hoc data and research support as required

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a diploma or degree in Data Science, Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
• Exposure to SQL, with basic querying ability
• Basic familiarity with APIs and external data sources
• Exposure to Power BI or other business intelligence / data visualisation tools
• Comfortable working with data and learning new tools
• Detail-oriented and able to follow structured guidance
• Some experience with Python
• Exposure to databases (e.g. MySQL, PostgreSQL, cloud databases)
• Interest in market research, economics, or real estate
