What You’ll Do

• Database Operations: Manage SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, MongoDB, PolarDB. Ensure uptime, backups, and disaster recovery.
• Performance & Security: Tune queries, optimize systems, enforce security, and conduct audits.
• Cloud Integration: Work with Azure SQL Database, AWS RDS, PolarDB. Drive hybrid and cloud-native solutions.
• Leadership & Support: Guide IT teams, support developers, and deliver database solutions for projects.

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• Proven DBA experience with Microsoft SQL Server (primary), plus exposure to MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, PolarDB.
• Strong knowledge of database design, security, backup/recovery, and performance tuning.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Edge

• Microsoft Certifications: Azure Database Administrator Associate, Data Analyst Associate, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure Data Engineer Associate.
• Scripting skills (Python, PowerShell) and automation experience.
• Knowledge of BI tools, data warehousing, and big data technologies.

Pay: RM9,000.00 - RM11,000.00 per month
