Key Responsibilities
- Maintain a safe and secure environment for guests, tenants, employees, and visitors at all times.
- Monitor and control access points, ensuring only authorised individuals enter the premises.
- Conduct regular patrols of the property, including hotel areas, public spaces, parking areas, and back-of-house facilities.
- Monitor CCTV systems and other security equipment, identifying and responding promptly to suspicious activities or incidents.
- Respond effectively to emergencies, including fire alarms, medical emergencies, disturbances, and security breaches.
- Enforce company policies, property rules, regulations, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Manage crowd control during peak periods, special events, and group arrivals.
- Assist guests, tenants, and visitors by providing directions and responding to general enquiries in a courteous and professional manner.
- Investigate incidents, accidents, and irregularities, ensuring accurate documentation and timely reporting to Management.
- Liaise with external authorities, including the Police, Fire and Rescue Department, and ambulance services when necessary.
- Perform bag inspections, vehicle checks, and security screening procedures as required.
- Ensure fire safety equipment and emergency exits are accessible, operational, and compliant with safety requirements.
- Support emergency evacuation procedures and participate in fire drills and other emergency preparedness activities.
- Protect company assets and prevent theft, vandalism, trespassing, and other unauthorised activities.
- Work closely with other departments to maintain a safe and secure operating environment.
- Maintain accurate daily occurrence books (DOB), security logs, and incident reports.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the Security Supervisor or Management.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum SPM or equivalent qualification.
- Previous experience in security services, law enforcement, or a related field is an advantage.
- Physically fit and capable of standing or patrolling for extended periods.
- Basic knowledge of security procedures, workplace safety, and emergency response.
- Strong observation skills with attention to detail.
- Able to remain calm and make sound decisions under pressure.
- Able to communicate effectively in both English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Willing to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
- Demonstrates integrity, discipline, professionalism, and a strong sense of responsibility.
Preferred Skills (Added Advantage)
- Experience in hotel, shopping mall, commercial building, or mixed-development security operations.
- Knowledge of CCTV monitoring, access control, and security management systems.
- Valid First Aid and Fire Fighting certification.
- Ability to prepare clear, concise, and accurate incident reports.
- Customer service-oriented with good interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.

Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
