IT Engineer (Full Stack Developer) | 1-Year Contract

We are partnering with an established manufacturing organisation seeking an experienced IT Engineer (Full Stack Developer) to support the development of business-critical web applications, cloud solutions, and AI-driven digital transformation initiatives.

This is an excellent opportunity for software engineers who enjoy building modern applications, working with cloud technologies, and contributing to enterprise-level digital projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain scalable web applications using Next.js, React.js, Node.js, and MySQL
• Build and maintain backend services, RESTful APIs, and system integrations
• Deploy, manage and optimise applications on AWS Cloud using the Serverless Framework
• Develop AI-enabled features, automation tools, and intelligent business applications
• Support chatbot development, document processing, workflow automation, and data analytics solutions
• Integrate applications with internal business systems, ERP, MES, and third-party platforms
• Develop and support solutions using Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps & Power Automate)
• Manage source control, branching, and deployment using GitHub and CI/CD best practices
• Troubleshoot application issues and optimise system performance, reliability, and security
• Work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver technical solutions
• Prepare technical documentation and participate in system design, enhancement, and code reviews

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related discipline
• 3–5 years of Full Stack Development experience
• Strong hands-on experience with:
• Next.js
• React.js
• Node.js
• AWS Cloud Services
• Serverless Framework
• MySQL
• GitHub
• Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps & Power Automate)
• Experience building and deploying enterprise web applications
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, system integration, and cloud deployment
• Familiar with CI/CD pipelines and modern software development practices
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
• Able to work both independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams
