The Facilities Engineer Intern will support the Facilities Engineering team in daily operations, basic maintenance activities, and improvement initiatives within a manufacturing environment. The role involves assisting with monitoring of facility systems, tracking energy and utilities data, supporting facilities-related projects, and maintaining proper documentation.
The intern will also assist in preparing and organizing records for ISO audits, ensuring facilities documentation is accurate and up to date. Through hands-on exposure, the intern will gain practical experience in facilities operations, energy management, sustainability practices, and engineering project support, while working closely with engineers and internal stakeholders.
Job Description:
Facilities Operation Support:
- Assist in monitoring facility systems such as ACMV, M&E, and utilities.
- Support preventive maintenance activities through data collection and basic analysis.
- Help track system performance and report abnormalities to the engineers.
Project & Engineering Assistance:
- Support ongoing facilities improvement and maintenance projects.
- Assist with documentation, progress tracking, and site inspections.
- Participate in meetings and coordination activities with internal stakeholders.
Energy, Sustainability & ISO Support:
- Assist in tracking energy and water consumption data.
- Support simple analysis for energy efficiency and sustainability initiatives.
- Assist in preparing documents and records for ISO audits (e.g. ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 50001), under guidance from engineers.
- Help ensure facilities-related records are updated and properly maintained for audit readiness.
Space & Documentation Support:
- Assist in space usage surveys, basic audits, and inventory updates.
- Help maintain facilities records, drawings, and documentation.
Learning Opportunities:

Requirements:
- Undergraduate pursuing an Engineering degree (Mechanical, Electrical, Facilities, or related).
