Project Overview

Service Monitoring, Alerting & Reporting Tool (SMART) is an in‑house web dashboard built using Python/Django to automate, consolidate, and visualize alerts from multiple systems. The platform enables actionable, trackable, and auditable monitoring for Technology & Operations teams. Currently supporting multiple modules across regional teams and scaling further.

Key Responsibilities

• Enhance and maintain existing web applications using Python 3 / Django
• Participate in end‑to‑end SDLC: requirement discussion, design, development, testing, and deployment
• Work closely with users to finalize functional requirements
• Develop and maintain backend services and frontend components
• Ensure delivery quality within agile timelines
• Support production stability and ongoing enhancements

Required Skills (Must Have)

• Strong hands‑on experience with Python 3 / Django
• Good working knowledge of Linux / Unix and shell scripting
• Frontend skills: HTML, CSS, JavaScript / jQuery
• Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MS SQL Server)
• Clear understanding of web application architecture
• Experience working across full development lifecycle

Good to Have Skills

• Exposure to REST APIs (consuming or building)
• Experience with modern JS frameworks (React / Angular / Vue)
• Basic understanding of monitoring, alerting, or operational dashboards
• Experience in banking / enterprise systems environment
• Familiarity with agile delivery models
