Purpose of Job
The role is responsible for transforming data into actionable business insights to support strategic decision-making and enhance client value propositions. To lead analytics initiatives related to employee benefits claims and utilization, develop business intelligence dashboards, strengthen reporting capabilities, and support business performance monitoring.
Key Responsibilities / Accountabilities
Claims Analytics & Utilization Reporting
- Analyse employee benefits claim data to identify utilization patterns, emerging trends, cost drivers, and risk indicators.
- Develop claim utilization reports and presentations for internal stakeholders and clients.
- Translate complex claims data into meaningful insights and recommendations.
- Support consultants in providing data-driven recommendations to clients on healthcare and employee benefits management.
Business Intelligence & Dashboard Development
- Lead pilot projects to develop and implement Power BI dashboards.
- Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards for claims, utilization, business performance, and operational metrics.
- Automate reporting processes to improve efficiency and data accuracy.
- Ensure data integrity and consistency across reporting platforms.
Reporting & Performance Management
- Develop and maintain consolidated sales performance reports across business units.
- Create management dashboards and KPI reports to support leadership decision-making.
- Monitor business performance trends and provide regular analytics insights.
- Prepare executive-level PowerPoint presentations and business performance reports.
Strategic Projects & Data Initiatives
- Support business transformation and data-driven initiatives.
- Participate in special projects involving analytics, reporting automation, and process improvements.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather business requirements and implementing reporting solutions.
- Continuously identify opportunities to enhance reporting capabilities and business intelligence cost
Compliance
- Ensure compliance with all applicable company and/or group policies and procedures. This includes any changes or updates to policies and guidelines.
- Maintain accurate and organized records related to compliance activities.
Knowledge and Experience and Skill
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in insurance, economics, business management or related disciplines.
- Minimum 6 years’ working experience in similar field (employee benefits, insurance, healthcare analytics, or financial services)
- Strong Analytical, problem-solving, data interpretation and presentation skills
- Knowledge of claims data, utilization analysis, and healthcare cost management.
- Familiarity with SQL, data modelling, and reporting automation tools.
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Able to communicate effectively both orally and written in English.
- Computer skills (Microsoft Excel, Word, and Power Point)
- Ability to work effectively within a team and independently and manage multiple priorities.
