Our Client a leading bank in Asia with a global network of more than 500 branches and offices in 19 countries and territories in Asia Pacific, Europe and North America are looking for Consultants to be part of the project
The Technology and Operations function is comprised of five teams of specialists with distinct capabilities: business partnership, technology, operations, risk governance and planning support and services. They work closely together to harness the power of technology to support our physical and digital banking services and operations. This includes developing, centralising and standardising technology systems as well as banking operations in Malaysia and overseas branches.
The client has more than 80 years of history in the banking industry and is expanding its footprint in Malaysia.
The selected resource will be working in a newly setup technology centre located in Kuala Lumpur as part of Technology and Operations to deliver innovative financial technology solutions that enable business growth and technology transformation.
Responsibilities
Gather and analyze business and data requirements from stakeholders.
Perform impact analysis and support solution design for data warehouse initiatives.
Analyze source-to-target mappings, data models, and data marts.
Support development, implementation, and maintenance of Enterprise
Data Warehouse (EDW) solutions.
Collaborate with ETL developers, data modelers, and business teams to ensure data quality and consistency.
Support L3 production incidents, root cause analysis, and defect resolution.
Review and validate ETL mappings, data transformation logic, and reconciliation requirements.
Support SDLC activities including requirements analysis, SIT, UAT, deployment, and production support.
Work with Teradata, Hadoop, Oracle, and Informatica-based data integration platforms.
Participate in data governance, regulatory reporting, finance analytics, and risk reporting initiatives.
Prepare functional and technical documentation.
Collaborate with DevOps and CI/CD teams for deployment and release activities.
Ensure compliance with enterprise data management standards and banking regulations.
Skills
Must have
6-9 years of experience in Data Warehouse, EDW, ETL, or Data Integration projects.
Informatica
Certified, TD or HD & Orcl any one Mandatory
Developer Role
3yrs minimum (Development) in Data mapping, Data modeling and Data Marts. Sr. Developer Role
above 6yrs (Development & Implementation Exp)
System Analyst Role
above 8yrs (SDLC & ITSC) L3 Support Sr. System Analyst Role
above 10yrs (SME, Design & Solution)
TDM/Lead Role
above 12yrs (SDLC/PLC,SME, Design & Solution, Delivery & Operatios, Team Management). New Mandatory
Should be certified in any two technoligies listed, and should have worked in Banking domain as per below roles/profile requirements
Database: Teradata DB or Hadoop Hive (Certified in any one) with Oracle backend knowledge.
Data warehousing: Teradata (FSLDM/FSD, GCFR, TD Studio, IFX, MDM, View Point, TASM)
ETL: Informatica or SAS (Certified in any one)
Big Data/Data Science/Discovery platfrom: HDFS/Hive/HUE/Scala & AI/ML(Certified Developer)
Data Analytics: SAS or Qlik Sense or PowerBI or Splunk/R Studio/Python (Certified in any)
CI/CD or DevOps
tools JIRA or Jenkins or Bit Bucket or Query Surge
Red Had OpenShift (core knowledge in managing containers through hands-on experience with containers, Kubernetes, and the Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform) Applies for CPM only
Good understand on data modeling concepts in Banks & has exposure in Hadoop & Data lakes. Knowledge & exposure in AI/ML development, DB2, AS400, QLIK sense, Query Surge, Microsoft Power BI, Business Objects, PUTTY, Aldon, control-M Candidates should have ny one of the following functional areas: Business Analysis or Business Acumen."
