Role Summary:
Provide Level 2 operational support for enterprise Microsoft infrastructure including Windows Server, Active Directory, Exchange (On-Prem & Online), Microsoft 365, DNS, DHCP, and File Services. Responsible for troubleshooting, incident resolution, service requests, and executing standard changes while ensuring service stability and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Incident & Request Management (L2):
- Resolve L2 incidents and service requests within SLA.
- Perform root cause analysis and implement fixes/workarounds.
- Escalate complex issues to L3/vendors with proper diagnostics.
- Support major incidents and provide technical updates.
2. Windows Server Administration:
- Monitor server health, services, performance, and event logs.
- Perform patching, configuration updates, and hardening.
- Troubleshoot OS-level issues and service failures.
3. Active Directory & Group Policy:
- Manage users, groups, and computer objects.
- Troubleshoot logon issues, account lockouts, and replication.
- Support and troubleshoot GPO application and conflicts.
4. Exchange & Exchange Online:
- Manage mailboxes, shared mailboxes, DLs, and permissions.
- Troubleshoot mail flow, access issues, and message tracing.
- Support hybrid mail flow (if applicable) and connector issues.
5. Microsoft 365 (Entra ID / Core Services):
- Support user lifecycle, password reset, and access issues.
- Assist with license management and MFA troubleshooting.
- Provide basic support for Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint access issues.
6. DNS & DHCP:
- DNS: Manage records, troubleshoot name resolution issues.
- DHCP: Manage scopes, reservations, and resolve IP conflicts.
- Monitor availability and resolve service-related issues.
7. File Servers (Windows File Services):
- Manage NTFS/share permissions and access issues.
- Support DFS (if applicable) and storage-related incidents.
- Handle quotas, file access, and performance troubleshooting.
8. Change & Maintenance:
- Execute approved changes.
- Support patching cycles and maintenance activities.
- Maintain operational documentation and runbooks.
Skills & Experience:
- 3–6 years in Windows / AD / Exchange / M365 support
- Strong knowledge of:
- Windows Server (2016/2019/2022)
- Active Directory & GPO
- Exchange Online / Hybrid basics
- DNS & DHCP
- File Services (NTFS, SMB, DFS)
- PowerShell scripting (basic to intermediate)
- Familiar with ITIL processes
Pay: RM5,000.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
