Job Specifications:

• Preferable Junior Executive specializing in Chemistry or equivalent.
• Added advantage to candidate with minimum 3 year working experience in analytical & diagnosis testing, product quality control; lab process improvement in similar working environment.
• Must be result oriented, self-motivated with effective planning skill.
• Hands on experience in Quality Management System (QMS) and Food Safety Management System (FSMS) documentation requirements will be an added advantage.
• Competent in CePIETSO-BP or PCP will be an added advantage.
• Minimum 3 to 5 years working experience in oleochemicals, and petrochemicals with similar work exposure will be an added advantage

Job Descriptions:

• To carry out routine analysis for raw effluents from production plants and treated effluent samples.
• To proper record the analysis data obtained and monitored efficiently. Summary of finding and conclusion to be ready presented to management when needed.
• To conduct research and development work; not limited to IETS operation and samples; initiated by the supervisor / management. Recommendation to be suggested for improvement and optimization.
• To work with IETS operation and engineering team to improve water discharge quality and quantity following the standard stipulated by DOE for both Vance Bioenergy Sdn Bhd (Pasir Gudang and Tanjung Langsat).

To conduct periodic checking of system operation and routine inspection for treatment processes according to the system recommendation.

• To prepare regular performance monitoring report as required by DOE, handling environment audit and compliance subject matters.
• To understand the analysis procedures, techniques and equipment used in wastewater treatment labs.
• Keep up-to-date on latest IETS testing methods, and requirements, also methodology for processing effluents.
• To attend competency course CePIETSO-BP as competent person registered with DOE.
