Job Summary

The Web Developer is responsible for designing, developing, maintaining, and optimizing company websites and web applications. The role involves ensuring website functionality, performance, security, and user experience while supporting business objectives and digital initiatives.

Key Responsibilities Website Development & Maintenance

• Design, develop, and maintain company websites and web applications.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
• Ensure website responsiveness across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.
• Perform website updates, bug fixes, and feature enhancements.

Front-End Development

• Develop user-friendly interfaces using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and related frameworks.
• Ensure websites are visually appealing and aligned with company branding.
• Optimize website performance and loading speed.

Back-End Development

• Develop and manage server-side applications and databases.
• Integrate APIs, third-party tools, and web services.
• Ensure data security and system reliability.

Testing & Quality Assurance

• Conduct testing and debugging to identify and resolve technical issues.
• Monitor website functionality and performance regularly.
• Ensure compatibility across different browsers and devices.

Security & Compliance

• Implement website security measures and best practices.
• Perform regular backups and updates.
• Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and company policies.

Collaboration & Support

• Work closely with marketing, design, and business teams to implement digital projects.
• Provide technical support and training to internal users when required.
• Assist in digital transformation and automation initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 2–5 years of experience in web development.
• Experience in developing and maintaining commercial websites or web applications.

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript.
• Experience with PHP, Python, ASP.NET, or Node.js.
• Knowledge of MySQL, SQL Server, or other database systems.
• Experience with WordPress, WooCommerce, Shopify, or other CMS platforms.
• Understanding of API integration and web hosting environments.
• Familiarity with Git version control.

Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
