Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior ICSS Engineer to support the detailed engineering phase of a large offshore oil and gas development. The successful candidate will be responsible for Integrated Control and Safety System (ICSS) engineering activities, ensuring compliance with project requirements and relevant industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead ICSS engineering activities during detailed engineering execution.
- Develop and review control system architecture, philosophies, and specifications.
- Prepare and review engineering deliverables including cause and effect charts, control narratives, logic diagrams, and system specifications.
- Interface with vendors to ensure technical compliance and timely delivery.
- Review vendor documentation and participate in factory and site acceptance testing, as well as system integration activities.
- Coordinate with process, instrumentation, electrical, telecom, and operations teams.
- Support cybersecurity and functional safety requirements where applicable.
- Participate in hazard and operability, safety integrity level, and project technical reviews.
- Provide technical support during commissioning and start-up phases.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Instrumentation, Electrical, Electronics, or Control Engineering.
- Extensive experience in ICSS engineering within offshore oil and gas projects.
- Strong knowledge of DCS, ESD, F and G, PLC, and SCADA systems.
- Experience with major control system vendors.
- Familiarity with IEC, ISA, and functional safety standards.
- Experience supporting detailed engineering and EPC project execution.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
