Job Summary
JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a Data Analytics Engineer to support manufacturing and engineering operations through data analysis, dashboard development, and database reporting. The ideal candidate should be proficient in Power BI dashboard creation and SQL scripting, with the ability to transform large datasets into meaningful insights that drive business decisions and operational improvements.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and enhance interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI.
- Create automated reporting solutions to monitor key operational metrics, yield, productivity, quality, and manufacturing performance.
- Write, optimize, and maintain SQL queries, stored procedures, and scripts for data extraction, analysis, and reporting.
- Collect, clean, validate, and analyze data from multiple databases and systems.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Production, Quality, and Management teams to understand reporting requirements and business needs.
- Identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for process improvement through data analysis.
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across reporting platforms.
- Support ad-hoc data requests, root cause investigations, and operational decision-making.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Statistics, or related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or reporting roles.
- Strong proficiency in Power BI, including data modeling, DAX, Power Query, and dashboard design.
- Strong SQL skills with experience in writing complex queries, joins, stored procedures, and performance optimization.
- Experience working with SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, or similar relational databases.
- Knowledge of manufacturing, engineering, or semiconductor environments is an added advantage.
- Familiarity with Python, Excel VBA, or other data analytics tools is a plus.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
