Role Description This is a full-time, on-site DevOps Engineer role based in Kuala Lumpur. The DevOps Engineer will design, implement, and maintain scalable infrastructure, using automation and Infrastructure as Code to support development and production environments. Daily responsibilities include managing CI pipelines, optimizing build and deployment processes, and collaborating with software development teams to improve reliability, performance, and security. The role also involves system administration for Linux-based environments, monitoring and troubleshooting infrastructure and application issues, and contributing to incident response and root cause analysis. The DevOps Engineer will work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure smooth releases and continuous improvement of the delivery lifecycle.
Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Infrastructure as Code (IaC) skills, including experience with tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or similar automation frameworks.
• Candidates should possess Software Development skills, with experience in scripting or programming languages (e.g., Python, Bash, Go, or similar) to build and maintain automation and tooling.
• Candidates should possess Continuous Integration skills, including experience configuring and managing CI/CD pipelines with platforms such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
• Candidates should possess System Administration skills, with hands-on experience managing servers, networks, security configurations, and performance monitoring in production environments.
• Candidates should possess Linux skills, including administration, troubleshooting, and optimization of Linux-based systems.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) is highly beneficial.
• Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and the capacity to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to document infrastructure, processes, and best practices clearly.
