About the role

Estek Automation Sdn Bhd, a leading manufacturer of industrial automation equipment, is seeking a skilled and dedicated Operator to join our team in Batu Kawan, Penang. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of our state-of-the-art production machinery, ensuring the efficient and high-quality manufacturing of our cutting-edge products.

What you'll be doing

• Operating and monitoring various production equipment, including CNC machines, assembly lines, and packaging systems
• Performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting tasks to ensure optimal machine performance
• Adhering to strict safety protocols and quality control measures to maintain a safe and efficient working environment
• Collaborating with the production team to identify and implement process improvements
• Maintaining detailed production records and reporting any issues or discrepancies to the supervisory team

What we're looking for

• Proven experience as a machine operator or in a similar manufacturing role, preferably within the automation or industrial equipment industry
• Strong technical aptitude and the ability to quickly understand and operate a variety of production equipment
• Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills to troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues
• Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and safety
• Good communication and teamwork skills to effectively collaborate with the production team
• Willingness to work in a shift-based environment and adapt to changing production schedules
