Job Summary:
The Business Development Manager (BDM) is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, expanding market presence, building strategic client relationships, and driving revenue growth within the furniture industry. This role requires strong sales, negotiation, and relationship management skills, with a focus on lead generation, client acquisition, and business expansion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive sales growth and market expansion.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, architects, designers, contractors, consultants, and project partners.
- Conduct market research and analyze industry trends, customer needs, and competitor activities.
- Build and manage a pipeline of prospective clients through networking, referrals, cold calling, and other business development activities.
- Prepare and deliver professional presentations, proposals, quotations, and contract negotiations.
- Achieve and exceed sales targets and business development objectives.
- Represent the company at client meetings, industry events, exhibitions, trade shows, and networking functions.
- Serve as the key point of contact for clients and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and repeat business.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure client requirements and project objectives are met.
- Track and report on sales performance, market activities, and business development initiatives.
- Provide regular business forecasts and updates to Management.
- Be willing to travel and participate in client engagement activities when required.
Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Must have experience in the furniture industry.
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or client relationship management.
- Strong negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
- Confident, professional, and able to build rapport with clients and stakeholders.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a positive attitude and good character.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Pay: RM5,000.00 - RM9,000.00 per month
