Responsibilities- Carry out routine servicing, maintenance, and repair work on marine engines
Diagnose mechanical and performance issues using diagnostic tools and troubleshooting techniquesPerform engine overhauls, including disassembly, parts replacement, and reassemblyConduct on-site servicing visits at customer locations as well as in-workshop repairsInspect and test engines after servicing to confirm proper functionality and performance standardsMaintain accurate service records, repair logs, and parts usage reports using internal CRM or service management systemsAdvise customers on engine care, preventive maintenance schedules, and troubleshooting tipsSource, order, and manage spare parts and inventory required for servicing jobsEnsure all work is carried out in compliance with workplace safety guidelines and manufacturer specificationsSupport senior engineers or supervisors on more complex repair jobs and provide guidance to junior technicians where neededRequirementsMinimum Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Marine Engineering, or a related technical disciplineMin 2 years of experience servicing or repairing marine enginesGood knowledge of engine mechanics, fuel systems and ignition systems, with the ability to read technical manuals and wiring diagrams
Proficient in using diagnostic equipment and hand or power tools for engine repair workGood communication skills, a strong sense of responsibility, and the ability to work independently and as pClarence Khoh
