Job Summary

Deliver personalised one-to-one Mathematics and/or Science lessons that strengthen conceptual understanding, problem-solving skills, and examination techniques to support student academic growth.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging one-to-one Mathematics and/or Science lessons tailored to individual student needs
• Develop personalised learning plans that address each student’s academic challenges and goals
• Strengthen students’ conceptual understanding, problem-solving abilities, and examination techniques through targeted instruction
• Monitor student progress regularly and adjust teaching strategies to improve learning outcomes
• Provide clear and timely academic updates and recommendations to parents to support student development
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date lesson records and student progress reports to track learning effectiveness

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Degree holder preferred in Mathematics, Science, Engineering, or related disciplines
• Minimum 3 years teaching experience preferred
• Experience teaching Primary and/or Secondary Mathematics and/or Science
• Strong subject mastery with the ability to simplify complex concepts for diverse learners
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage students and parents effectively
• Reliable with the ability to commit to a consistent teaching schedule for at least 12 months
• Strong sense of professionalism and responsibility towards achieving positive student outcomes
