We are looking for an SCM (Software Configuration Management) Engineer to support infrastructure security and application release processes. The role involves managing source code repositories, build automation, version control, and deployment activities while ensuring security and compliance standards are followed.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage source code repositories and version control systems.
• Support build, release, and deployment processes.
• Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines.
• Ensure secure configuration management practices.
• Monitor and troubleshoot build and deployment issues.
• Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and security teams.
• Maintain documentation for release and configuration processes.
• Ensure compliance with organizational security policies and standards.

Required Skills

• Experience in Software Configuration Management (SCM).
• Knowledge of Git, SVN, or other version control tools.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
• Understanding of build and release management processes.
• Basic knowledge of infrastructure and security concepts.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with scripting (Shell, Python, PowerShell).
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and automation tools.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

Qualification

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in SCM, DevOps, Release Engineering, or related roles.
