Role Overview
We are hiring a Linux Platform Operations Engineer to design, build, and maintain critical infrastructure supporting global trading environments. This role focuses on high-performance, low-latency systems, working closely with engineering and SRE teams to ensure stability, scalability, and automation.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and manage Linux server and storage infrastructure (primarily bare-metal)
- Implement configuration management (Salt/Puppet) and manage system updates
- Handle P1/P2 incidents, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis
- Optimize system performance, kernel tuning, and low-latency environments
- Develop automation scripts (Python/Shell) to improve efficiency
- Monitor systems using Prometheus, Grafana, and maintain observability dashboards
- Support infrastructure projects and collaborate with global teams
- Participate in on-call rotation and weekend maintenance activities
Requirements
- 5+ years' experience in Linux infrastructure
- Strong knowledge of Linux kernel, networking, and performance tuning
- Experience with configuration management tools (Salt/Puppet)
- Proficiency in Python/Shell scripting
- Exposure to cloud (AWS/GCP) and Kubernetes/Docker (preferred)
- Familiarity with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana) and IaC (Terraform)
- Experience with storage systems (SAN/NAS, RAID, NVMe)
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
