- Perform troubleshooting, rectification, protocol analyzing and tracing for any network related issue;
- Configure, change, update, maintain, manage network and firewall configuration;
- Administer and manage IPv4 and IPv6 addressing scheme;
- Work with other contractors where required to delivery required network services;
- Perform checks on network health;
- Any other network/security related tasks as directed by the supervisor;
- Configuration, monitoring, fine-tuning, troubleshooting, interpretation of statistics and information of all network system and servers;
- Provide on-site support during network migration activities (i.e, pre/post migration and during migration);
- Attend to and resolve incidents within SLA.
Job Requirements
- Have at least three (3) years hands-on practical experience in operating enterprise routers/switches, firewalls, load balancers, domain name servers (DNS), bandwidth management system, and server/platform system;
- Be at least a Certified Network Administrator – Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or equivalent;
- Preferably possess relevant SDN product professional certification accorded by the product principal for recognition of attaining the knowledge and skills required to implement the proposed SDN products;
- Have good knowledge of SDN programmatic methodologies, tools and scripting to support the integration of SDN with the existing network, provisioning of new application profiles with policy-based control, maintaining and updating the application profiles and troubleshooting;
- Have the ability to conduct network diagnosis and troubleshooting; and
- Be IPv6 trained and have relevant hands-on experience;
- Have good working knowledge of security governance, security operations and security technologies such as system hardening, IDS/IPS, firewall, monitoring, and incident management.
