Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled Playwright Automation Engineer with strong coding expertise to design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks for web and API testing. The candidate should have hands-on experience in Playwright along with solid programming foundations and exposure to CI/CD-driven delivery models.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement end-to-end automated test frameworks using Playwright
• Develop and maintain test scripts for UI and API automation
• Build reusable automation components using Page Object Model (POM) architecture
• Perform cross-browser testing, regression testing, and integration testing
• Integrate automation suites into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Bitbucket)
• Collaborate with developers, BA, and DevOps teams in Agile/Scrum environments
• Debug & fix flaky tests leveraging features like auto-waiting, trace viewer, and logging
• Contribute to automation strategy, test coverage improvement, and shift-left testing practices
• Perform code reviews and mentor junior QA engineers

Automation & Tools

• Strong hands-on with Playwright (JavaScript / TypeScript / Python / Java)
• Experience in UI and API automation testing
• Framework development experience (from scratch preferred)
• Knowledge of BDD frameworks (Cucumber / SpecFlow)
