Job Descriptions:

• Review drawings, take off quantities and prepare Bills of Quantities.
• Cost monitoring and cost control including comparing tender budget with actual cost.
• Liaise with the construction team & design team to prepare Request for Quotation (RFQ) documentation.
• Source for potential sub-contractors & suppliers and issue RFQ invitation.
• Coordinate queries and clarifications between tenderers and project team during RFQ stage including arranging and attending for meetings.
• Evaluate quotations and prepare reports including comparisons and analyses.
• Prepare contract documents for awarded tenderers.
• Performing contract administration including but not limiting to valuation of payment claims and variation claims and settlement of final account in accordance to contract requirements.
• Attend meetings and site walks to monitor and keep track of the work progress.
• Work closely with PM and construction team and finance department to ensure smooth workflow process.
• Liaise & communicate proactively with sub-contractors and suppliers to minimize disputes and resolve contractual issues promptly.
• Assist QS Manager / Contracts Manager in quantity measurements, cost estimates and overall cost planning activities.
• Ensure all duties performed in accordance with company policies, processes, systems and procedures.
• Undertake any other ad-hoc tasks as assigned byQS Manager / Contracts Manager

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Survey or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of working experience in the related field in Singapore is required for this position.
• Candidate with both civils and architectural knowledge is preferred.
• Experience in LTA MRT, viaduct projects, or projects of similar scale, complexity, and nature, will be an advantage.
• Strong communication, analytical, negotiation and time management skills.
• Proficient computer skills, including advanced proficiency in Excel.
• Able to work independently with minimum guidance in fast paced environment.
• 5.5 days work week.
